Yi-Jhen Lai

Yi-Jhen Lai is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Polymer Program at the University of Connecticut. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU). Her  research focuses on hydrogel systems and the structure and dynamics of soft and self-assembled materials. Her work involves the use of scattering techniques, including light and X-ray scattering, to investigate nanoscale organization and material properties.
